Mission Statement

To promote and provide for the improvement, social and general welfare of our Community through; Communication, Advocacy and Fostering a sense of community. 

This includes the following

1.  Provide Communication to Residents

Local news updates, storm & power outages, piping plover information and education, events/connections to other coastal neighbors, upcoming events, museums, theatre, restaurants, Municipal & State news items and things of interest in southern Maine.

2.  Advocate for the Community

•      Local & State government liaison

•      Road paving, road safety

•      UNE neighborhood liaison

•      Maintain relationship with local police and river patrol

3.  Foster Sense of Community

Socials, barbeque, yard sale, bocce, beach & street clean up, visual appearance (signs & plantings), Neighbors Helping Neighbors, lighthouse tour, Kids day and birdwatching.
